Riding in the Dewdney Creek Forest Service Road we came upon a rockslide at the 8km marker. The first time we came, Patricia got on my bike and videoed the ride up and back.

The next weekend we came up again. This time the road was much worse and instead of just 2 riders, we had 3. My 9 year old son Yale was with us. As Yale was manouvering through the worst spot, he dropped his bike. Just then I heard rocks falling from above. So I did what any good father would do, I yelled at him to leave the bike and run like hell. After he was out of danger I pulled out the video camera and got to shooting the slide. Fortunately it was a small one but you never know…
